In the past couple of weeks I’ve had the chance to speak in classrooms or lecture halls at Queen’s University in Kingston, Mohawk College in Hamilton, the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and both the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.
It was wonderful to have this opportunity to meet the students and their dedicated instructors.
I am happy to report that I have just been recruited to teach Marketing Strategy in the Executive MBA program at the University of Windsor. I will be using ‘Blue Ocean Strategy’ as the text book.
The old expression, “he who teaches learns twice” is certainly true. I find the students of today eager to learn and very bright. A good sign for the future indeed.

Right you are Bob Lauterborn of UNC! Bob is heading to China soon for a month. I believe he is doing some workshops over there. It was a pleasure to visit with Bob last week in Chapel Hill and guest speak at one of his advertising classes. Bob is my unofficial but de facto mentor in IMC, After all, he wrote the book on it!!
