Here we are in Antwerp, Belgium. The old city is beautiful. I’m here to attend and present at the e3 conference. It’s all being held at the Hilton Hotel right in the middle of the historical center of town.
A terrific dinner was held tonight at the Sir Anthony Van Dyke restaurant – which is in a lovingly restored house with 20 foot ceilings. I was fortunate enough to sit beside Holger Ambroselli from Italy and the current President of the e3 association. Holger has just finished his soon-to-be-published book on the tribal nature of successful brands. He is also the architect of this conference’s theme “A Right Brain Future.”
I speak late Friday morning. Should be fun… there is not a word of copy on any of my 14 slides. Just pictures. How about that for right brain presentation techniques?
We in the communications field must learn how to better use the right side of our cranium. More vision, more imagination, more innovative problem-solving. And more balance!!
There are exercises we can and should do. My own personal training starts tomorrow!
Hi Alan,
thanks for mention my book. I’m close to finish the contract with the publisher. The book will give inputs for the left and the right brain. And it will have a lot of pictures – as your presentations, which are always very inspiring.
Regards from sunny Italy,
Holger
